Throughout his career he has become well known for his unique form of Abstract Impressionist Art which has a strong focus on personal relationships and the human form.
Through his unique talent, sometimes provocative, and creative use of imagery, NCD's paintings are well known to create passionate responses in the viewer. It is not uncommon for the owner to develop a strong emotional bond once they are possession of an NCD original.
NCD has had many successful showings which has earned him an impressive following among other grass roots artists. He has several pieces held in private collections across Canada and he continues to be a sought after artist. His art is often the grounding point for the mood of the space in which is is housed..."

The business of making art is a business that provides an intersection of human connections; it provides a dialogue like no other. There is no single way to come at art that is infinitive or correct. In fact the viewer's relationship to the work and his or her interpretation of its meaning supersedes the expectation of the artist. Thus, I cannot provide stories and context to the work without stunting the viewer's imagination. Nor do I wish to do so.
